Maria H. Casey is the Director of Volunteer Resources of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Metro New York. The Metro New York volunteer program involves over 700 volunteers in all areas of operation. Maria has created and implemented the chapter's fundraising, speakers bureau, continuing education, train the trainer, and mentor training programs. She has conducted seminars for Make-A-Wish Foundation of America, Idealist's Non-Profit Human Resources Conference, Association for Fundraising Professional's Philanthropy Day, and the New York Association for Volunteer Administration.

She has an MS degree from Long Island University at C.W. Post and a BA from Adelphi University.
