Preview to: Ever wonder who invented the training exercise called "brainstorming"? It was Ronald Lippett and Eva Schindler-Rainman, who were internationally recognized as experts in group dynamics. Eva was also an articulate and passionate advocate both for the value of volunteering in a participatory democracy and for the importance of volunteer management as a set of skills. She was a prolific writer and speaker who contributed many important articles and speeches that shaped the philosophy of our field.
