Jane Ellington and Chris Jones Jane Ellington and Chris Jones are Co-directors of Volunteer Services at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Jane joined Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite nine years ago, coming from a career in admissions and development at Trinity School Inc. She has taught Sunday school at her church, serves as a block captain in her neighborhood association and is a member of the Junior League of Atlanta. Chris has been a part of the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston for five years. Previously, she was a financial analyst with Fidelity. Chris also serves as a member of the Junior League of Atlanta and is actively involved in her neighborhood civic association and the American Cancer Society. In their current jobs, both oversee Family and Visitor Services departments,
5,000 volunteers including Gift Shops on both campuses, in-service volunteers,
36 Community Friends Groups, Friends Junior Committee and general Friends
members. They continue to work with Friends volunteers on future integration
efforts. Both feel that working with volunteers and for pediatric healthcare
is an extremely rewarding vocation. |
