Did you know that there is a vast global network of volunteers ready to get help to you quickly and efficiently? While many think of ham radio operators as hobbyists, in truth they are a valuable resource in times of trouble. During the days following September 11, they demonstrated their value in a world of cell phones and e-mail. We'll learn more about these "invisible heroes" and how they contribute to their local and global communities.
