Laura Hamilton

Laura Hamilton has been managing volunteers for nearly 10 years and is currently employed as Volunteer and Development Manager at George House Trust (www.ght.org.uk). Prior to working at George House Trust, she led the development of a youth volunteering, mentoring  and supported volunteering programme in Sefton, Merseyside and supported local voluntary organisations to develop good practice and build capacity around volunteer management. Hamilton has also volunteered for a range of organisations including peer education projects, student advice lines, local HIV charities and Manchester Literature Festival. She is a member of the North West Volunteering Development Council.
