Sue Kobar

Sue Kobar is the Manager of Volunteer Services for Nurse Maude-New Zealand (www.nursemaude.org.nz)  and currently serves on the board of Volunteering Canterbury.  With more than 20 years of experience in volunteer program management, Kobar is noted for her extensive work in co-writing and coordinating the inaugural Certificate in Volunteer Management-Hawaii.  In 2005, Kobar was recognised for her work in the volunteer sector and presented the Network of Volunteer Leaders-Hawaii Lifetime Achievement Award for outstanding contributions in the field of volunteerism.   She earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Services from Hawaii Pacific University and a certificate in Volunteer Management from Washington State University.
