Nikki Russell
Nikki Russell works as a Volunteer Initiatives Manager for United Way of King County. She is the training manager for United Way’s volunteer program management training series. Russell has developed workshops and trainings for local conferences and tailored trainings in Volunteer Resource Management to meet the needs of nonprofit organizations in the Seattle and King County. She currently serves as the Board Chair of the Volunteer Administrator’s Network (VAN) Northwest and is actively engaged with Training and Capacity Building Committee for AL!VE, supporting the development of the ALIVE Webinar Series. She began her volunteer resource management career in 1995, first as the Volunteer Manager for Program for Early Parent Support and later as the Volunteer Resource Developer at Food Lifeline. Her nonprofit background includes 12 years of experience in program management and volunteer resource development. Russell holds a BA in Anthropology from Beloit College, WI and a Master’s degree in Anthropology from Boston University.
