Terry Straub

Terry Straub is Program Coordinator for the U of M Extension Master Gardeners in Hennepin County. Terry leads Master Gardener volunteers who bring research-based horticultural information to the Hennepin County community through educational activities. He has lead several volunteer programs including the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program of the Greater Twin Cities, the former Minnesota Office of Citizenship and Volunteer Services and the Minnesota AIDS Project. Terry has acted as co-chair of the Hennepin County Volunteer Programs Network, served as President of the Minnesota Association for Volunteer Administration and served as Chair of the MAVA Task Force on Engaging Boomers and Volunteers. He is adjunct faculty of the University of St. Thomas Center for Business Excellence. Terry received his BA in Music from Minnesota State University – Mankato; his Certificate in Volunteer Management is from Hamline University.
