Eileen Cackowski of the US is the Executive Director of the Kentucky Commission on Community Volunteerism and Service. That office oversees Kentucky's federal AmeriCorps grants and coordinates Kentucky's involvement in Colin Powell's initiative, America's Promise, which focuses on grassroots volunteerism. Prior to her current role, Eileen was the Senior Director for the Family Matters initiative for the Points of Light Foundation, and she was a Deputy Director of the Maryland Governor's Office on Volunteerism. Earlier in her career, Eileen was a director of a volunteer center.
